About us

The Golden Clove is an Indian restaurant and bar at 2/4 Marina Promenade, Paradise Point QLD 4216, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the restaurant" refer to the business that operates The Golden Clove.

Using the website

You may use the website to read information, view the menu, check opening hours, place a pickup order, make a booking and contact us. Please use the website honestly and do not attempt to interfere with its operation, copy its content for commercial use or access areas that are not meant for you.

Accounts

You need an account to place a pickup order. You must give accurate details, keep your login secure and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. Your account requires a verified email address. We may suspend or close accounts that are used for fraud, abuse or other unlawful activity.

Pickup orders and payment

Pickup is the only ordering service we offer. Delivery is not available. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the items you have chosen at the total shown at checkout. Payment received does not by itself confirm that we have accepted the order. Where we cannot prepare an order, we will tell you and arrange a refund or resolution in line with our cancellations and refunds page.

Pickup times depend on the kitchen's availability and the restaurant's hours. We may ask you to choose another time if your chosen time is no longer available. We will not confirm an order for a different time without your agreement.

Bookings

A booking is a request for a table at a particular date and time. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us. We may need to contact you about your booking. Please arrive on time, and tell us as early as possible if you cannot attend. Our booking change and cancellation approach is explained on the cancellations and refunds page.

Vouchers and rewards

Vouchers and rewards may have conditions, such as expiry dates, minimum spends, product limits or restrictions on combining them with other offers. Those conditions will be shown where the voucher or reward is offered. Rewards are not currently active on this website.

Prices and changes to prices

Prices are shown in Australian dollars on the menu and at checkout. We may change prices and menu items at any time. A change will not affect an order that you have already paid for.

Your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights. If a service is not provided with due care and skill, or a product is not of acceptable quality, you may be entitled to a remedy. The cancellations and refunds page explains how to raise a problem with us.

Intellectual property

The content on this website, including our text, layout and photographs, belongs to The Golden Clove or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your personal use. Please do not reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party links and services

Our website may link to third-party services, such as maps, social media, review sites and payment providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Your responsibilities

When you use the website, please give us accurate contact details, check your order or booking before you confirm it, and tell us promptly if something is wrong. If you bring a guest to a booking, please make sure they know the arrival details and any dietary notes you have shared with us. Please treat our team with respect when you contact us or visit.

Communications

We will send you messages that are needed for your order, booking or account, such as confirmations, changes and questions about your visit. These messages are not marketing. Marketing messages are separate, and you can choose whether to receive them. Your choice does not affect your ability to place an order or make a booking.

These terms are written to be read alongside the other policy pages on this website. Where a term on this page and a more specific statement elsewhere on the website appear to differ, the more specific statement applies to that particular matter. Nothing in these terms reduces the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We may update these terms from time to time. The updated terms will apply from the date shown at the top of the page.
